Ohana Hawaiian Island Bbq

Was craving Hawaiian BBQ Mix platter with macaroni salad so I tried this place on the way to work. Smaller corner shop with some seating inside, open kitchen setup. Placed my order, no changes, cashier was a nice Asian lady. The BBq mix came with 2 pieces of short rib (3 bones each), like 4 big flat pieces of bbq chicken, and a handful of bbq beef pieces. Also on the platter was the standard 2 scoops of rice and a scoop of macaroni salad. I enjoyed the variety of meat, not overcooked or too salty. Good flavor and tenderness. My cravings were satisfied! Was only able to finish half the platter, so the other half was dinner for another day. It was worth the price, would come back again.

I think I hit a bad day when I visited this restaurant. I ordered the ribs with macaroni and rice for over $17 and a chicken bowl for about $7. Unfortunately, the ribs were incredibly chewy and seemed undercooked, lacking any flavor — it was quite unpleasant. I even found a rotten carrot in my meal, which was just gross. Overall, the ribs were overpriced and poorly prepared. The photo with just the meat looked like it had been chewed up and spat out, as it was impossible to break down. Oh, and I almost forgot to mention the awful smell inside — it reminded me of rotting chicken.

The chicken bowl had decent rice and vegetables, but the chicken was tough and rubbery, making it difficult to chew. Some of the skin still had hair on it. The cheese rangoons had a good flavor in the middle, but the rest were hard and stale. I mentioned my concerns, but the cashier just called the cook over, who said that’s how they prepare the food. Honestly, this meal needs to be made with more care and attention, rather than just being tossed in the pan. I don’t plan to come back here.

I order 4 spam Musubi and it looked uncooked and had an odd flavor. Sadly i spent money on a meal I couldn't eat I been craving spam Musubi for a while now but now I lost my appetite. Another thing is as we were getting our drinks we found either mold or rust In our drinks, we told the lady and she said sorry gave us another cup (we were afraid to fill up our cup) It was like they never clean the fountain machine. Yum! The chicken katsu curry was delicious and so satisfying. The katsu is crispy, the curry is flavorful, the Mac salad is the perfect accent. You can ask for the curry on the side if you prefer. Pricing was a great value. Definitely will come back next time I’m craving Hawaiian food.

Flood was pretty tasty for the prices, place needs a really bad clean up as all doors are covered with dirt over the years I'm guessing. When sun is out place gets pretty hot as the sun hits all windows making it a very hot sun room and not comfortable to enjoy your food.

This is the best budget-friendly dining option for Elac students. You can easily share any meal combo, as the portions are generous. The prices are much more reasonable compared to Ono. Food: 5/5

Food here is good. Chicken Katsu Volcano chicken (spicy kick) is usually the main thing i order here always ask it with double Mac. Other than that everything else is pretty good too Reserva una mesa ahora

Very good sized portions! Very delicious! I got the bbq chicken/katsu combo. It was very good!
