Ate here a couple of times. Bahn mi is okay but not special. The owner is more Chinese than Vietnamese. The last time I went, I was the only one there. I asked a worker a question about Vietnam. The owner interrupted her answer, said they were busy and wanted to know if I intended to order anything. I walked out and haven’t been back. I never ran into such rudeness in Vietnam, or West Seattle for that matter. There’s no reason to support such businesses.
The tofu bahn mi (no mayo is an absolute amazing sandwich! I just wish so badly they had vegan mayo options so all us vegans/dairy free folks could enjoy a proper bahn mi experience. (If you switched your menu entirely to nayonaise no one would notice so please go for it! Also I think they have alot of vegan beverages but its not entirely clear? Not sure if they use milk or coconut milk?
Nice little hole in the wall spot. I pass this spot whenever I'm walking in the area and it's super cute. Was craving a Banh Mi and this place hit the spot! I think they make everything to order, so it a little bit of a wait but worth it! Everything tastes fresh and delicious! It does get busy so just be aware you might have to wait a little. Definitely coming back!
