This hidden gem has become the one place I always try to visit when I return home to Scranton. And post pandemic, I must say that it has somehow gotten even better. The menu still offers a fantastic and impressive variety, though I typically get a bentobox for lunch. On my most recent visit, I had the hibachi vegetables, the edamame, and the spicy crab roll (in addition to thesalad, rice, and miso soup that come with each box great value). All items were prepared with care, cooked perfectly, andpresented nicely. More importantly, each item was delicious. The owners are super friendly and dedicated to providing greatcustomer service. I absolutely adore this restaurant, whether dining in or ordering delivery—it's always fantastic. Their sushi is incredible; my top pick is the Dragon Roll, which is one of their specialty rolls featuring avocado and eel. I also really enjoy their sweet potato roll, as well as the salmon and avocado rolls. Every sushi variety I've tried here has been delicious, and they offer an extensive selection. The bento box lunch specials are a great value, as are the dinner specials. I’ve also tried the hibachi, and the steak is consistently juicy and flavorful. I've ordered from here numerous times and will definitely continue to do so. It's probably my favorite restaurant!
My experience from ordering delivery over the phone to the actual delivery was fantastic. I decided to try the Filet Mignon with rice, veggies, noodles, and salad, and I was pleasantly surprised. It was authentic Filet Mignon, and to top it off, I requested it rare, and they cooked it perfectly. I even called back to commend the chefs and the entire team. You can't make a bad choice here—everything is sure to make your taste buds dance! Thank you again; I'm already thinking about placing another order just because I'm craving it!

The best fried rice around!! I absolutely love their rice it's so flavorful! You don't have to order a whole hibachi meal to enjoy the fried rice! They always remember my spoon for me! They always give great portion enough to save for later. I have never dined in but whenever I do order they are done on time every time and the food is always steaming hot!

I had an excellent experience at Oishi today. The food was fantastic, and the service was exceptional. I ordered the Bento box from their menu, and everything was incredibly fresh and delicious. Food: 5/5.

I've ordered sushi from here about five times, and each time it gets even better. I recommend picking it up rather than getting it delivered. In my opinion, it's the best sushi in Scranton.
The sushi is definitely a great value for the price. My husband really enjoyed the hibachi chicken and fried rice.
