Tried out oke poke for the first time cause we were craving some poke and it was tasty! Food: -got salmon and tuna as my fish with rice as the base. It was pretty full of all the toppings which was yuuuummmy! I think next time I'll ask for extra ginger and wasabi on the side- just a personal preference. The fish was pretty good, but the salmon didn't taste as fresh (it could be a fluke or maybe just the drive home too, we to-go-ed the food) but it wasn't anything alarming so we ate it all up! Stopped by on a Sunday evening. Not busy, no one at counter when I walked in. Must have been prepping things in the back. Ordered large 5 protein 1/2 greens, 1/2 white rice poke bowl. There were a lot of toppings to choose from (i.e., cilantro, jalapeños, spicy crab, avocado, corn, carrots, seaweed salad, etc). Avocado is included in the bowl!For protein I chose salmon, tuna, spicy tuna, albacore, and scallops. For sauce, I chose firecracker. Loved the sauce! You can choose the toppings to be mixed in or just placed on top. I chose mine to be mixed in so everything was sauced up. Tasted so good! Finishing toppings they had flamin hot cheetos crumbs! In my opinion, this is the best poke spot in the neighborhood. While many places have fresh fish, the sauces here are exceptional and really make a difference. I particularly love the kimchi sauce combined with the oke house sauce. They even serve Dole Whip at a reasonable price! I've been a regular here for years, and although the prices have increased and some items, like masago, seem to have disappeared from the menu, it remains my go-to place for poke. By the way, I recently tried another poke place nearby, and their sauces didn't even come close to comparing!
Really good price and portions and the staff was really nice. The flavor of the poke bowl was a little short. The salmon I got was very fresh and everything, so I think it came down to the sauces. Maybe I need to play with different combinations but itwasn't as good as some other places if been to. Definitely a good value for the price though. Side note: The soft serve asreally good!

Staff are literally always really nice as everyone says, so I wanted to leave a review. This is my go-to poke place locally. The standard, quality and portions are reliably consistent for decent value. Hopefully, they can control pricing for long-termfuture. Choice of toppings is good.
My favorite poke place in Monrovia. Fish is fresh, many side options (including free avocado?? that's awesome! , and flavorful sauce. Portions can be very generous depending on who's working haha! The service is great. Parking is very easy, located in the Vons grocery plaza.
I was actually looking for another place that is no longer in business, but lucky for me I stumbled upon Oke Poke. The variety of items was surprising. The different styles of rice, refreshing. The complete bowl, delicious!!! I will definitely return withfamily in tow.
It was good, but the place had an unpleasant odor—not a fishy smell, but it definitely needs some air quality improvements. Did you notice it too?
