What a little jem. Looking from the outside at this converted sports bar, you would never guess that it serves finger-licking good Greek food. Actually, you might even just drive by it and not even notice it's existance - I did!First and foremost, the place is spotless - including the washrooms. Don't want to be totally negative...our waitress was great. We ordered the fried calamari as appetizers , they were served with store bought red sauce ...very disappointing. It would be so easy to prepare a simple house marinara. We each had a doner pita dish with greek salad and oven potatoes. The presentation was horrible, the salad was warm and mushy, the potatoes were so overcooked that they were borderline mashed. The doner pita however was acceptable.the atmosphere was boring our booth was very dated (stains on the benches) Like a previous poster mentioned, you must own shares in this place to write a positive review. We were looking for a Greek restaurant we had not visited and finally visited Ola Kala in Laval. We reserved and were met promptly by the nice staff and seated right away. We looked over the menu and decided on their famous 'Spasti' chicken ( a marinated on the grill ) and we did not go wrong, it was out of this world ! We also had the pikilia and Tiyanopsomo (fried bread), salad and fries to round out the meal. We all agreed that it was a great supper and a great night out, ambiance was great.

We ordered takeout for the first time and as a Greek I was so entirely satisfied with my meal! I had the gyro pita plate with fries rice and salad. The gyro was the biggest I have ever had. Stuffed with so much delicious meat and plenty of tzatziki. By far the best gyro in Laval and probably the rest of greater Montreal. Also I need to rave about the house salad which was made with lettuce, cucumber, parsley and a generous portion of Feta. Can't wait to go back!

The ambiance is nice although it may not look like that from outside. The grilled meats are excellent. Spasti chicken is amazing. Typical octopus, horgiatiki, tzatziki, souvlaki, bar, all very reasonably priced. Many TVs if wanting to catch some sports with friends. You will not be disappointed.

I agree with others, it was unexpectedly amazing! it reminded me the food you get in a taverna in Greece. We have tried Pork fillet, grilled to perfection, chicken 'spasti' and meat balls (keftedakia). All excellent. Service is fast and very friendly. Worth the try

Cute and clean place, waiter super friendly. Ordered pork stick platter and chicken pita platter. Both meal well presented, generous portions, fresh ingredients, well cooked. Oven roasted potatoes are exceptional, never had better. Will be back.

They specialize in chicken so we ordered the chicken. It was so fresh and so tasty! The prices were very good and the service was excellent. It is very intimate and it is very clean. I would definitely return back again very soon!

Very similar to Greece dishes. The food was very fresh. Everything we ordered wals outstanding... No complaints
