We came as soon as they opened, hoping for a brunch-type situation. I was immediately surprised by the mandatory parking service. That was disappointing because my toddler tipped in the backseat and I was hoping to park and let her sleep even more before we got in. It wasn't possible. But I'm sure many people are trying to skip the check. Just keep in mind that it is mandatory on weekends. When we came in, we discovered the child's menu with Mac and cheese. I saw a good choice for $7.99. I didn't know we got strength blue box of Mac and cheese in a bowl. I understand that inflation drives prices, but $8 seems pretty inappropriate for what that was. We have the smoked salmon dive that reminds...
This was a great spot, I'm glad we stopped to try it! Under staffed but which place isn't nowadays. The lone waitress did a great job though. The food was very good. Got the smoked fish dip which was my favorite. The chips that accompanied it were very good too. Ordered the specialty fish sandwich which was salmon, goat cheese, onion jelly on a bun. Something new but very good and supposedly their hottest item. The lobster bisque was just ok. The key lime pie was outstanding! Recommend sitting at the back bar or any of the tables by it. Great view and music!
Nice view. Have fun feeding the catfish from the docks. Although old key lime house has an allergy menu the options are very limited if you have a milk allergy. I ordered a grilled chicken sandwich, but there were no milk-free rolls, probably it would have been better to just turn it into a salad. Food was good, but nothing spectacular.
It's a real GREAT BAR! Arrival by car, boat or walk for a really cool experience, hang with locals, in one of the many bars on this water edge spot! Often there is a band, every time we were there? ve enjoyed the music, definitely adds the fun. Much bar food, that's good, but you? here for the VIBE over everything else! ENJOY!
