Having had breakfast here twice in the past year, I can say that this is what a small resort area needs and people should expect, not some fancy high-end locale. The service was friendly, quick and if you avoid the busy times, it is nice to sit back and enjoy the local flavour of the place, which is currently being renovated. The home-made grain bread was especially good, and for about $8.- we got a full breakfast, with a nice piece of REAL ham plus the usual sides. There is another eatery around the corner on the waterfront which is a pleasant place to have lunch or supper during the high season, so this is NOT the only place to eat. There is also another small summer-only place off the mai...

I am extremely disappointed with Blind Bay more than any other place in the area. Surrounded by high cliffs on three sides, the town only gets sunlight for a fraction of the day. The houses on the cliffsides are overpriced, and the season is short. Olde Town Cafe is the only sit-down eatery in the bay area, and it is a huge letdown. The service is terrible, with waitstaff more interested in chatting than attending to customers. The food is equally disappointing, with a cheesesteak that was inedible. The steak was dry and old, the vegetables were greasy, the cheese was plasticky, and the bread was stale. The chef clearly doesn't know how to cook a proper cheesesteak. This restaurant is the wo...

Even though the place was packed and lively, the servers did their best to keep up and were friendly. Breakfast was very good and reasonably priced. Lots of patrons seemed to know one another so it created a good vibe. There are other sit-down places to eat nearby, but this one is certainly worth the visit. BTW--I come out from Calgary each year for a month or more and Blind Bay is a wonderful place to stay on the Shuswap--reliably warm and sunny. This restaurant was a great addition to the town. It serves lunch too and closes at 3:00 during the summer. Offers ice cream and coffee to go.

Café is closed till the end of February 2015 for renovations. Hopefully they will be open again soon with a new menu - Last one hadn't changed in a long time - always find the service friendly and wonderful soups. Can't wait to see what is changed. Reserva una mesa ahora

Good food and fairly cheap but it is closed after about 3:00 in the afternoon. Breakfast is their best meal with many options. In the recent past it sometimes took forever to be served if there was a large group but they seem to have...More

We can always rely on a delicious homemade breakfast at this restaurant. The staff is friendly, although they may be short-handed on some days, which can lead to longer waits. This seems to be a common issue at many businesses nowadays.

great for grabbing bite to eat on boat, or go for huge yummy affordable breakfast, can get very busy, especially on Saturdays and Sundays when all the locals stop by for brunch on outdoor patio
