after the use of ole paella for my office Christmas party last year I had no hesitation to book it again this year. after the booking, a friend pointed out that they had a series of bad reviews lately, but when I paid my deposit, I stayed with them. after some communication problems, I finally heard from brad and managed to confirm the booking details and the menu. the night went very well and the eating was amazing! brad and his staff have made a fantastic job with the oysters, entrée and the most delicious paellas I had in perth. I have an ZERO STAR revision for an option. we wanted them to take care of our high time, but as soon as we all paid and ordered our menu, they stopped all communication with us. 2 weeks before our high time we discovered all the terrible strata of them that do not appear, etc. and we went with another catererer. we have lost a lot of money by committing ourselves to this disgusting business and despite the owners agree (reluctant) to pay at least 50% back to us, he never did and we cannot contact him again. we have heard that he still has deposits for the care of human events and not download them! trust this man or another company he has/is...read more
absolute shame. I ruined my 50th birthday party. it was 3 hours too late. his phone not answered. paella was served at 10.10 clock when most people left how they had hungry children. only 25 of the 70 guests were there at 10.10 a.m. when paella was served. I paid 70 guests in advance and fed only 25. no excuse. the sad part is that I've read some terrible cripples after I paid in front. the owner promised me he would be there on time. that's all I asked about him because I have end cancer, and I don't have the energy to stay too late. he lied to me. he had no intention to arrive at 17 o'clock, as he was on Saturday on the fremantle Hawkers markets...read more
This company was booked for a friend's birthday party... and nearly ruined the night. They turned up THREE AND A HALF HOURS LATE without communication which lead to panicked hosts and starving guests and then, to top it off, the food they served (very late) was quite miserable. Paella was flavourless and other dishes (including dessert) were just skipped altogether.. This is so disappointing because their pictures and promises seem great but after that night, the price and the upset they have caused my friends, they are definitely not worth the risk to your event!

AVOID AT ALL COSTS. Catered my friends party and were 3.5 hours late, did not supply what was agreed to months before, food was very average, dishes where missed and is now refusing to refund. They did try to offer more catering as compensation but why would you want that after the last dismal effort. Would not answer phone calls when trying to locate them until we started using other peoples numbers. Did not supply the churros as agreed and compensated by going to the local shop and buying some caramel slice. All this for the bargain price of $4500. Disgusting.
Customer beware! Ole Paella was prepaid and arranged for a 40th birthday to provide food and bar staff for the event. They arrived 3.5 hours late without communication and ruined the event. Half of the dishes arranged were missing and one dish served half cooked. Of the bar staff provided 2 had no RSA and no experience. Still no refund or communication... extremely disappointing
Absolutely terrible company. Arrives 4 hours late to our friends birthday party, dishes up uncooked paella and then doesn’t serve up the dessert of churros, instead goes to the local IGA and buys some choc caramel slice and chocolate ice cream. Ignored phone calls and no communication. Terrible company!!!!!!! BUYER BEWARE!!!!!!!!!!
extremely disappointed by ole paella, will never recommend everyone. has not delivered any hens party experience that has been agreed, and all guests were disappointed. everything lacked (timeliness, communication, professionalism) the refund was hunted for months after the event, but without resolving.

Catered my sister-in-laws birthday party. Showed up hours late and didn’t answer phone calls to find out where they were. Paella was very salty and they didn’t even bring the churros that had been organised. Worst of all is not handling the situation professionally after the event. Appalling!
