The beer here is great. Really good quality Guiness. The biggest issue with this place is the music. They always have bands that do not fit the vibe of the bar at all. We go here often and usually always leave when a band goes on. The bands are always consistently not what the bar seems to need or what is expected. They usually have classic rock bands or indie style. The pub obviously has an Irish vibe but when classic rock bands go on it doesn’t fit at all. We’re always looking for and expecting an authentic Irish band to go on and play Irish music and we never get it.

My favorite pig in all larger Boston range. It is small and dark inside what makes it great for conversations. Sometimes they get live music, which is nice when you're in it. The food is incredible. It could cost more than many other dives in the area, but it is absolutely worth it. Great Shepard's cake and burgers. The Irish guy who always takes my orders is the only man I can ever call Darling.

Amazing staff. Good drinks. We had a group in town and that was a home for some of us. The staff warmed us up and greeted us. What a big group of people and great drinks. I didn't eat, but some did and like the food a lot.

Cosy and friendly neighborhood pub. Good selection of Irish whisky; as the name says. Better than average pub scrub. Friendly bartenders and a beautiful mix of local regular and thirsty passersby.

Food was ok and service was ok. We waited a long time for our food even though we were one of two tables there.
