First off, the restaurant is bright and clean! The decor is modern, and there’s both indoor and outdoor seating available. The vegetables are incredibly fresh! The falafel tastes as though it’s made right on the spot. I’ve tried the falafel from Halal Guys (which is frozen, overly salty, and frankly terrible), but Olive Falafel delivers a fresh and delicious experience! If you enjoy falafel, you’re going to LOVE Olive Falafel! Give it a shot!
The hummus is good too. I have my favorites, and nothing will ever beat the hummus from Hummus Pita Co in Manhattan (which sadly closed during the pandemic), but I’m thrilled to have discovered this AMAZING falafel spot along my route to and from the B...
The dolmades (grape leaves) and falafel were clearly store-bought. The falafel was particularly disappointing—dry and lacking in flavor. The chicken shawarma was also dry and tough. To my surprise, they didn’t have any shish kebab available. The Kofte Kebab was the only dish that I actually enjoyed; although I'm not typically a fan, I found myself happily sharing some with my wife. The prices were excessively high, especially given the quality of the food. The hummus and baba ghanoush had an unusual taste, quite different from any I've experienced before.
I have gone to olive falafel many times in the past two years and the food and service is always great. During my most recent visit a menu item had new ingredients without this change being advertised and I was unable to eat my meal. When I brought to their attention our server, Dayana, she apologized and made a new meal excluding the problem item for no charge. Amazing service and will definitely be back soon!
As someone who grew up in the Bronx, I've given this gyro spot several chances, but unfortunately, it's not impressive. The food tends to be quite salty; the last gyro I had left a strong saltiness even after rinsing off the meat. Additionally, the tzatziki sauce didn't taste good either. On a positive note, the staff is friendly, and the restaurant itself is clean.

The food was incredible, and the service was exceptionally friendly! The staff were likely the nicest people I've encountered in a restaurant in quite some time! My kids also loved the food, which is a rare find these days. Overall, I would give the food a perfect 5 out of 5!
Another local lunch favorite. Their greek salads with grilled chicken are delicious. Love the stuffed grape leaves and husband is a fan of the gyros. Another place where service is upheld and you always feel welcomed and courteously embraced as a customer. Thumbs up!
My cousin recommended this place, mentioning the fantastic burger he had, and he was spot on! The gyro I tried was incredibly moist and delicious—I almost didn’t want to use ketchup! The service was excellent, and the food was outstanding. Food: 5/5
As for kid-friendliness, we had 15 children in our group, and they all found plenty of options they could eat and enjoyed every bite. Additionally, we have dietary restrictions that require us to eat halal, and this place was perfect for us!

the absolute BEST gyros in the area. Vegetables are always fresh, meat is delicious. They always remember their regulars and at this point i don’t even place orders i just walk in. Great place highly recommended to try it out!
