I give this one star because I have to, or I can't write a review. The other two recent one-star reviews are totally accurate. It's a crappy karaoke bar that tries-and fails miserably-to do live music on the weekends. So if you like crappy karaoke or The One and Only Frankie D and the Boys, then this is your spot. If you actually want to have a great time and be entertained, there are ten other bars in Nyack you will have a more exciting time at. Go to the giraffe bar and play darts. You'll have a way better time. The owner owns the whole building, so she does not give a s about the bar, the people that work there, bands that might make the mistake of trying to play there, customers, etc. Sh...

The owner contacted me regarding a price I quoted, expressing that she didn't find it acceptable and expected a lower offer. She mentioned how everybody is struggling, and if that weren't the case, I would prefer to hire a DJ from a bar in Pearl River, NY. I would rather pay her fairly than lowball and risk ruining the experience, especially since those bars are well-maintained too.
Great food, attentive service, and affordable prices. They offer a nice selection of beers, and you can dine both indoors and outdoors. There's seating for four at the bar. The restaurant is conveniently located on the main strip, with metered parking available on the street. Considering the limited options for German cuisine in Westchester and Rockland, this is a fantastic choice.

This place is a lot of fun and a bit quirky. The music is great, and the bartenders are a blast. You really feel at home here. The staff and customers are friendly and funny. Sometimes there’s live music, and sometimes there isn’t, but it’s always a good time. Plus, you can write on the walls with chalk—how cool is that? Definitely a great spot!
This review is too harsh. This place deserves at least a 4.4 rating. The German cuisine is quite good. The Sauerbraten and Jägerschnitzel (make sure to try the veal) were both excellent. The side dishes are generous, they have a great beer selection, and the prices are reasonable.
My friend and I visit this restaurant nearly every month because we both come from Germany and miss the German cuisine! The food here is consistently excellent and reminds us of the specialties we enjoy back home! We wholeheartedly recommend this restaurant.
This is a fantastic spot! They have a pool table, live music, and outdoor seating. The stage for the band is beautiful, and there's a long bar as well. I also perform music here.

Only here for an emergency and found it very good to be cold beer good food and good service. Not many German restaurants!
Great crowd, friendly bartenders and great live music... Plus pool tables makes it also laid into a funny back house.
