Dropped by for dinner. Service was great and friendly. The restaurant gets a little loud as it was pretty full which makes for a lively atmosphere. It has tables inside and out which makes for a very nice place to stop on a summers eve. We ordered a lot of the Greek dishes from the menu (no one ordered the Pizza so can't tell you about that) and it felt that the plates that came to the table were something you might get at a fast food Greek mall food court versus sit down restaurant. It wasn't bad, it just wasn't great. The portions were generally pretty large. If I was in the area I wouldn't hesitate to stop and eat here again, but I just wouldn't go out of my way to come back.
Local restaurant that has been on Broadway for years. Established local clientele so the atmosphere is lots of fun and camraderie. Feels like you are sitting in a TV sitcom like Cheers. Say hello to Tina a great server, knows everything on the menu, and everyone by name. Very friendly establishment. Food is very good, pizza is made exactly as requested, wine selection fits the food, and the greek food is seasoned to perfection. We both like to order the lamb chops, comes with 5 single chops, seasoned roast potatoes, hot garlic bread, rice (if U want) and a bottle of La Finca Malbec. All for $70. For our US friends that equates to $55. USD
Don't get to Vancouver too often these days,but when hankering a good pizza,this is where I want to eat!The crust is terrific and the spicing of the tomato sauce is devine!The meat toppings have lost a bit of their top-notch quality over the years and should go back to what they served years ago since the salami,pepperoni and back bacon were terrific back then.The addition of the ground meat on the meat-lover's style of pizza should be taken away as it takes away from a classic taste many grew up with.Service is decent and the decor fine.Prices are average and don't gouge!Decent Greek cuisine if desired.
There's a reason these folks have been around so long. They still make good Greek food the old fashioned way and serve it with pride. We often get pizza or Greek delivered, and it's the best pizza in Kits. I had lunch (chicken souvlaki meals for 10) delivered to a customer's office and it was on time, hot, fresh and they just raved, so flavourful! So generous! When dining in, it's even better as comes piping hot, and their wine selection is great too. Fast service. We have become regulars :-) PS better reserve ahead on the weekend! It's packed.

We used to come here all the time and I'd forgotten how good it was. I had chicken souvlaki. The chicken cubes were generous and marinated, so they were so moist and full of flavour. Not like the dried-out little pieces I've had in other places. My DH had moussaka which was equally good and very rich - loved the hint of cinnamon. The feta & oilve appy with pita was large enough to make a nice lunch. Plus -- the prices were lower than I expected. Definitely worth putting this restaurant back into our regular routine!.
Just about the best family restaurant in the city. With a nice assortment of Italian, pizza, and Greek dishes on the menu, there is something for everyone. Olympia offers a pleasant, comfortable dine-in experience and perfect-every-time take-out service. Service is very efficient and friendly. This is my idea of a wonderful family neighbourhood restaurant. I'm a huge fan of Olympia.
We have been here several times, but today was our first time in a while. The food was fabulous and came fairly quickly, despite the restaurant being full. We ordered the homous and pita, lamb souvlaki, and dolmathes dinner. It was all fabulous. We were there with our 15-month old and the staff was extremely welcoming and accommodating.
Whether for a happy hour or a full dinner, we are fan! The think crust stone-over baked is a must. The margarita style and the 4-cheese are to die for! The Greek salad is carefully crafted and the feta cheese is a mouthful of flavour. Great service too and excellent price.

We had a hankering for a pizza for lunch so because we were already in the Kitsilano neighborhood we made a bee line for Olympia. We ordered a large meat lovers pizza (a mistake unless you have a huge appetite) and ended up taking 1/2 of it home.
Bon rapport qualité prix et portions généreuses (15 à 20 CAD selon la taille de la pizza). On peut ramener les parts de pizza que l'on n'a pas consommées. Notre serveur était très sympathique et de bon conseil. Bien placé sur Broadway Avenue.
