My boyfriend and I were in Jackson Heights searching for a quick lunch when he mentioned he was craving Tibetan food. I googled Tibetan restaurants, and Om Wok came up as the top nearby choice, so we decided to give it a try. He ordered the breakfast platter, which included a puri set—fresh, puffy Himalayan bread served with chutney and a flavorful gravy. The puri was freshly fried, crispy on the outside and soft inside. Without a doubt, the juiciest momos in town! Their momos are massive, nearly twice the size of those at other places. The restaurant tends to be busy and seating is limited, so it can get crowded for dine-in.
