Very good food and a good show (better than most). They do sing the happy birthday song frequently. There were obviously several people with birthdays, but it plays through the speakers in with the rest of the music like it was on a schedule. It was a lively place! The staff genuinely seemed to enjoy working there. We enjoyed our visit.There is a $19 per person minimum. The standard chicken hibachi meal with steamed rice is $35. If you have a child that’s where you’ll encounter an issue. Children generally don’t each much (mine don’t). So one person needs to get double fried rice or have the child order someone else’s sushi and appetizer and you’ll be set. The staff were very accommodating.
Went to OMO Teppan Kitchen Calgary Japanese Teppanyaki for the first time tonight, and we were absolutely wowed! We went to celebrate my kiddo graduating from grade 9, and we had such a blast!The staff were all so friendly and seemed like they genuinely loved their jobs (which always makes a huge difference). Our chef was hilarious and great entertainment, and the food was to die for! I'm still mad I forgot to grab a bottle of the ginger sauce, that stuff was amazing.All around 10 stars we had a fantastic time, and this little picture they took and printed out for us was such a sweet little extra that we didn't expect!
Absolutely incredible place to come to eat!! With a group of 10. The atmosphere was very fun and loud but not bad, loud, energetic loud, very fun!! The chef interacted with everyone greatly!! The best part was whenever he was asked about ppl and saying ohhhh that your girlfriend? To me and my daughter ? I waited a second or two, then had to bust him out for fun he was soooo embarrassed he couldn't even comprehend, but we all laughed a lot!! My daughter may have cringed a bit lol.
I highly recommend this restaurant it's a must visit! The atmosphere was great, and the staff were incredibly friendly and attentive. We celebrated our friend's birthday here, and it was truly an amazing experience.The live entertainment and the cheerful birthday atmosphere added to the fun. Everyone was there to celebrate a happy birthday, which created a fantastic and lively atmosphere. Definitely a great place for special occasions!

Absolutely fantastic experience ???? I came here with my husband for my birthday and it was such a great date! I had the Japanese Wagyu and it was delicious! The meal came with lobster and scallops ? Totally worth the price for the quality and overall experience! Aldwin was our chef and he had our table laughing all night! Jennifer, our server, was friendly, helpful, and so nice ? can't wait to celebrate our next event here!!!
Very fun experience, more of a show! just be warned it’s the hell of noise! Best service I’ve ever seen, however we arrived later than booking and the kitchen was supposed to be closed they took our orders so patiently and we didn’t feel any rush. I had tappen beef meal which comes with soup, salad, two pieces of shrimp, either steamed rice or fried rice, and ice cream. It was ok but not worth the price to be honest.
Jesus and Kira provided us with an exceptional experience. Jesus juggled fire, wow!! The food was 20 out of 10 delicious and they make all of their sauces in house, which you can also purchase to take home. Thanks again for the memorable night.Food: 5/5
Great ambiance and entertainment with ok food. A definitely must visit at least once a year but can't see myself going there more than that. Make reservations to avoid a long wait. The service and energy by the staff is unparalleled.Food: 3/5
