My partner and I used to love this restaurant before we became vegetarians. We would always order their delicious chicken club and avocado sandwich on focaccia. However, after visiting again recently, we were quite disappointed. When I called to place an order, I was treated rudely and kept on hold for a long time before eventually being hung up on. When I arrived at the restaurant, I was told that they no longer served the sandwich on focaccia because they didn't think it was worth the price. This has been a tried and true lunch spot to meet people outside the office. Lunch is healthy and delicious, coffee and tea offerings are plentiful (capuccinos and lattes are great), and if you'd like to indulge, there are always a selction of tasty baked...treats to choose from. I loke the selection of sandwiches and salads. My only recommendation would be to increase the greens in the salad portions. The location is handy, I can always find a parking spot (free in Thorold's downtown) and the atmospheere if the restaurant is warm, friendly with a chic feel. The staff are very nice. The lunches we ordered were fine, but it seems like they weren't paying attention when we placed our order over the phone. One of the items was incorrect, and the Caesar salad had an additional $2 charge, despite being one of the smallest salads I've ever seen. I expected a larger portion for the price. The total for a sandwich and Caesar salad was nearly $20, which I found to be quite high. I have never been here before and do not plan on returning. The food was alright, but there are many other restaurants that offer better quality food at half the price.

We ordered two cappuccinos, but the girl rushed to make them so quickly that she made a mistake. The foam tasted like instant coffee. Despite this, we decided to order the grilled goat cheese panini with soup. However, when it arrived, there was no soup. Since it was a warm summer day, we opted for a salad. The girl brought out a piece of focaccia bread, microwaved it, cut it open, spread margarine, added red pepper, microwaved it again, and then spread goat cheese using her bare hands (no gloves). This is a great informal lunch spot to meet up with friends. Enjoyed a Reuben panini and delicious roasted red pepper soup. Plenty of food and beverage choices. Staff hustle to get the food to your table n a timely fashion. They work miracles in...their small open kitchen lots of seating choices. Parking in the back and street side. Saw a few people come in using mobility aids without a challenge. Priced right! Will return.

I have eaten here quite a few times and every time I had a different soup and sandwich combo. The sandwiches are fantastic but the soups are out of this world. The first place I've left, wanting more. I have to admit that the portions...of soup are a little skimpy, but it is enough. They have also done a marvellous job remodelling this cafe. Two thumbs up for the owners!!!

This cafe is newly renovated, with a welcoming and comfortable atmosphere. You can order a plain coffee or spice things up with an espresso or cappuccino! They have tasty treats as a side to your drink and the wifi is free. Great place to meet...friends or just relax by yourself.

we went to this place and it was great. the price was a bit high, but we had beautiful coffee, lunch sandwich and some gloomy. I would recommend the other as the location is great and the ambiente is very beautiful.

This cafe is delightful! The drinks are delicious and are made to your request. We ordered the breakfast sandwich and it was very fresh. A great location to have a cup of coffee.
