On The Rise Artisan Breads

This review is based on 6 visits to On The Rise bakery. Their selection of breads is outstanding. My all time favorite rosemary focaccia. The reason for 2 stars is my 3 experiences with tofu Bahn Mi. According to the website (and a sign inside thecafe), this sandwich should contain the following ingredients: Cleveland Tofu, Pickled Carrots and Daikon, Jalapeno, Cilantro,Special Sauce. I tried this sandwich 3 times. Only once I had cilantro and daikon. The other 2 times it was just a tiny bit ofcarrots, no cilantro, no daikon, and definitely no jalapeno. The photos clearly show that the sandwiches look very different. Ido not know if this is a fault of a cook or deceptive trade practice and I am very shocked and disappointed.

Excellent bakery. It?s not cheap, but everything I?ve had from here is delicious and shopping here supports a local small business. If I could make a suggestion, please make more fruit croissants because they sell out so early ????

On the Rise is a top notch bakery! I go there often for their cinnamon swirl raisin bread. And those sticky buns and croissants!!! Too die for!!! They have EVERYTHING! I think they even have sandwiches, you won't be disappointed!

I enjoy being able to walk in again and loiter a little because the bread and pastries are so good and the atmosphere deliciously aromatic.

Fresh, flaky, pastries and a damn good cup of joe. You did wish your neighborhood bakery was as good as this! Very good folks too!
