On The Turps - Reserva de mesa

During my stay at the heritage lodge, I enjoyed cocktails and dinner. I ordered the meerrot kangaroo, which was served with carrots and grilled vegetables on Israeli couscous. The flavors were excellent, and the meat was cooked to perfection. The atmosphere on the covered deck was lovely.

Stayed at the Heritage Lodge and booked dinner at ‘On the Turps’. One of the best meals I’ve had in years! Ordered Kangaroo with mash and veggies, and cannelloni. Beautifully presented, perfectly cooked! Photos do not do it justice! Breakfast was also delicious and COVID prepared.

The staff here are lovely, and the restaurant itself has a nice atmosphere. However, the dining experience (in the Daintree as a whole) is a bit disappointing. The service is excellent, but I would say this is definitely one of the better restaurants in the Daintree.

Excellent choice in the Daintree Forest. Lots of options also for vegetarians and all meals are well prepared and thought through. Service was also very attentive and super friendly. Definitely take the Garlic bread! Reserva una mesa ahora

Best dinner we had in the Daintree! Great options for a travelling vegetarian, we had the cannelloni and friend cauliflower which were delicious. Friendly staff too!

Probably one of the better restaurants in the area, but at a higher price tag. Food was good, but we were not blown away. Too bad the coffee isn’t great.

The food was delicious and the atmosphere was cozy! For my lunch experience, I would rate the food a 5, the service a 5, and the atmosphere a 5.
