Why did it take me so long to visit this place?! By far the best fish and chip local without the waiting in queues (even after calling an order in) or rude staff. One Fish Two Fish are a welcome addition to a string of shops that is in an area not usually frequented by me, despite being very close to my home this joint deserves a higher rating it's clean, inviting and the menu is bound to cover most people's tastes fish (either single or in packs) calamari, salads, burgers, South Melbourne Market dimmies... It was cooked to perfection, and the batter was crispy rather than soggy, which we've experienced at other places. The fish itself was incredibly tender and generously portioned. We opted for the "two for two" pack, which came with a substantial serving of chips. It also included two potato pancakes that were not only tasty but cooked flawlessly, along with two dim sims that were delightful. I frequently order from this restaurant because it’s conveniently located, and their salads are consistently fresh. The chips are always crispy and delicious, and the calamari is exceptional—so tender! The only downside is the fish in the value packs; it tends to be much greasier than the other fried items and often lacks flavor. I recommend placing your order in advance and picking it up.

A great little addition to the strip of shops on Orrong Road. We've been a few of times now and have not been let down. I can see this being a regular on a Friday night. The fish is well cooked and delicious, along with the crispy chips and potatoes cakes. I would recommend this place to anyone in the area.
Always fresh and tasty fish, chips and potato cakes. I've tried a variety from the menu and it's all been great. Salads are tasty too. Add friendly staff and it's full marks for this neighbourhood spot. Always mean to take photos, but never can wait and gobble up my food as soon as I get it home.
