I ordered two large fish and found them to be the same size as the normal fish from other fish and chip shops. The batter is very nice. The large chips I ordered for 2.50 were smaller than a regular portion at other chip shops. The chips tasted like they had been cooked twice and were not hot. The mushy peas were not as good as usual. I don't think I will use this restaurant again. The fish was tasty, but I found it to be overpriced for the portion size.
Do not bother with this restaurant. The owner is incredibly rude and disrespectful. We placed our order at 5:45 and it still had not arrived by 7:40. We were then told it would be another 20 minutes. After waiting even longer, we were then told it would be an additional 10 minutes. We decided to cancel our order and will not be ordering from here again.
I have been passing by this restaurant every day on my way to work in the neighborhood for a few months now. I decided to try it tonight and the haddock and chips were fantastic. There was no grease, very flavorful, and the restaurant has a 5-star health rating. I had a really pleasant experience and would highly recommend it to anyone.
We recently moved from Bispham and we were worried we wouldn't find a great chippy like the Middle Chippy. How wrong we're we. Probably the best Fish and Chips we've ever had. great place. I'm not a native, only in the opposite fantastic haddock and chips and it has a 5-star environmental health score that is top notch. fish cooked fresh, chips cooked fresh, besides no oil on both. use this site definitiw again.
we just moved into the opposite and so we had the delivery of fish, chips and pizza. everything came sharp and tasty, in contrast to some takeaways! the menu is extensive and very well cooked. beautiful.
Ordered pizzas with chips waited 50 mins live 2 streets away got order wrong was all cold rang to complain was told couldn't be cold we live 5 mins away ? £17 LIGHTER will be the last takeaway from here
We have food delivered , everytime we can't eat it all ,because of big portions.even our cat loves the Fish ha ha . Anyway fantastic takeaway Reserva una mesa ahora
