I ordered a house special chow mien with sauce and received it without. I call to tell them the order was not correct. The man was very rude and said he cooked it and it did have sauce. I explained I have pictures showing no...sauce. I tried to say if they could make a discount on my next order it would be forgotten. He hung the phone up on me and immediately blocked my number! How rude! This was a special treat for me and my son, as I am a special needs teacher and been teaching throughout in an open school! Not what I want on a Friday night during a covid 19 pandemic trying to keep both myself and sons moral up!!
The other day I ordered from this restaurant and was very impressed with the fast delivery. The food arrived hot, which was a pleasant surprise. I ordered the mixed chow mein (large portion with more meat than other takeaways I've tried), the black bean bon (a bit dry and the sauce wasn't my favorite, but still good), and the mixed salt and chili combo (tasty, but could have used more seasoning in my opinion). Overall, the food was good but I thought it was a bit pricey. I will likely order from here again.
this restaraunt has always made amazing food. since the lock-off, the prices have risen extremely to get the microphone key off! Early reels (which are amazing) have gone from £1.95....TO.£3.20! we usually buy for neighbours, etc. who cannot come out, but none of them can afford the tracking prices so much disappointed all rounds: .. and 3 delivery orders have gone today alone to another restaurant that has not changed the prices. u have quality here and many recurring customers so why ruin them for greed?
Ordered food at ten to seven and food still not arrived by ten to nine. Phoned the restraint to find out where the food was but phone continuously busy, probably from other people complaining ? Eventually got through and although there was an apology we...were told they were just cooking our food. We could have gone shopping and bought/cooked the food in the time it took to arrive. We won't be ordering from these people again as we would starve in the time it takes to be delivered.

We have been ordering from this takeaway every week and it has always kept it's amazing food quality. Although it takes some time for the food to be delivered, the overall standard of the food was excellent. From our experience, the deliverry times are faster...on weekdays. Nice takeaway, does not deserve the bad reviews!
The thai food was mediocre, three dishes that all tasted roughly the same. The mixed meat pad thai had shellfish in it! That is dangerous when not specified when you order. There are many better quality takeaway's, I won't use Oriental Express again.
I recently tried this takeaway for the first time, and I have to say it's the best Chinese food I've ever tasted! I particularly enjoyed the chicken dish. We will definitely be ordering from here again!
I tried the hot and sour soup and it was delicious. The beef ho fun noodles were amazing. The service was very good and I thought the takeaway restaurant was very clean.

My favourite Chinese take away in Oxford! Highly recommend garlic chilli chicken pieces and sweet chilli beef.
