Original J's Teriyaki

I will not be returning to this restaurant. My family and I visited yesterday, and the first thing we noticed was how dirty the floors were. The bathroom was absolutely filthy as well. Our table was sticky, and none of the other tables we tried were any better. When our food finally arrived after about 15 minutes, we found that it was the wrong order. It was my meal, so I decided to try it anyway. Unfortunately, the sodium content was shockingly high, leaving me feeling like I needed to guzzle water right after eating. It was unpleasant. The service was lacking too. The woman taking our order had a terrible attitude and seemed completely uninterested in our presence.

I was recommended this restaurant by friends, and I truly regret going there. I called in to place an order, but the phone connection was terrible. When I arrived to pick up my order, they didn’t have it ready at all. They claimed I must have called the wrong location, even though I recognized the girl’s voice from the call. When I called back, it was the same place and the same girl, so I’m not sure what her issue was, but she was quite rude. After driving 20 minutes, I had to place a new order. Once I got in the car and opened my box, I found a long black hair in my food. I immediately threw it away and went home. I won’t be returning to this restaurant.

My family loves this place. I have 2 kids, both of which eat as much as me, and we can eat here for 30-35 bucks. Just order sides, one side of pork will feed 2 of us. And the staff are awesome, always friendly and want to help. Edit: still love this place, but since doing away with Styrofoam. Their portions have gone down to what seems like half. No longer the deal they once were.

Was craving some average teriyaki from a strip mall while in Wenatchee, and this place didn't disappoint. I'm from the Seattle area, so we have quite the selection on this. This would at least be better than half the teriyaki places over there, but it won't be the best teriyaki you've ever had. The food is quick, and the restaurant is clean. Would eat here again. I've been thinking for a while about starting a passion project to rank every teriyaki restaurant in the state. I've tried most of them, although I still need to check out a few in Spokane and some in Seattle. That being said, Original J's is my personal favorite.

I have always loved original Js, but this time I’m positive they gave me food poisoning. I was severely sick within hours of having chicken teriyaki and egg rolls
