Oscars on Sydney has been a restaurant of choice for our family. Lovely open air dinning (closed inside area as well) in the city heart. Cool breeze blowing on hot days. Unfortunately this visit was not up to usual standards. Maybe the 11 at our table was a little too much. Food was average and orders not complete in the way of extras. Service also a little below standard as well. Usually a nice experience, however not today. Coffee was great though. Don't let this dishearten you. Today may have just been an off day.
We normally love going to Oscars as the food is delicious and the service good. Sadly not this time, after waiting 10 minutes and countless times asking for a spoon to eat my breakfast with I gave up and went searching for one. The waitress was rude when she gave it to me. I would expect if I order something that requires a spoon it would come out with my meal.
It was disappointing to visit with colleagues and order coffee as soon as we arrived, only to have the coffee turn up after the meals were served. The meals were relatively unimpressive too. Quite ordinary. Will not return.
Just stopped in for a quick breakfast to start my workday. Service was great, fast and polite and the food was good and well priced so I was happy. A great place to get a takeaway coffee while in town too.

Wow, what great service and interesting and yummy food. So refreshing to get new ideas on old foods and have them come out tasting every bit as much as described. Good value too.
Situated in the CBD this café has a great little menu and the couple of times we have dined there the staff are friendly and efficient. The food is delicious and well presented.
Great breakfast menu, and the coffee is divine. Service was excellent, and the kids were happy with there colouring pages. Will definitely visit again when in town.
We ate here 2 days in a row. My colleague enjoyed the coffee and we both enjoyed the meal. Omelette one day, eggs & bacon the next - quick efficient service.

Oscars is a solid place to start your day! We ordered the Avocado Toast and "Breaky 1" (bacon, eggs, and toast) and were very happy with our meals.
