We dined there on a Friday night and the place was packed. The menu is very Italian, right down to the name of every dish. But the taste and quality was disappointing. Restaurante italiano animado y energizado donde Valter, el propietario da la bienvenida a todos. Lively and energized Italian restaurant where Valter, the owner welcomes everyone. All guests are treated to Bruschetta and amazing bread with garlic oil olive for a starter. The menu has many appetizers like eggplant and mozzarella and salads. All of the pastas are served from their preparation skillets just like in Italy. I had the "Tutte Pasta De Valter" which was a combination of "gnocchi arribiata ". and butternut squash and creamed spinach raviolis The ravioli were excellent. Naturally you are too full for desert but you are served some amazing drinking chocolate with a biscotti. While dinner is expensive you will feel like you were treated to an Italian Feast.
Our son is a student at The U and loves Italian food, so we go here when we visit. We went the night before a Thanksgiving and were not disappointed. Everything was delicious and the service was outstanding! We even spoke to a alter a couple of times. My daughter and son-in-law are going to Italy in the spring. Vaulter gave them the address for his restaurant near Florence and even told her to call him before he goes. Falter makes everyone feel like friends and family. We love Valter’s!
I see her rating is 4.7 stars... That's a DANG LIE. 5 stars begin to finish. Every course, every bite, every drink. Our waiter, Troy? 12/10. Service was phenomenal. Every single product that was recommended tasted like nothing I have ever tried in the right way and I have experienced a lot of fine food The owner was Darling. Our experience was really impeccable. can't wait to come back, and bring all I know to try.
One of the best restaurants in Utah. If you have not been, then you must make a reservation and go. This is a complete culinary experience. So close to the food in Italy as you can get. The service was from this world. Food presentation and taste is great from the charts. Will definitely return
