I stopped in for a drink on a hot summer day. I got the iced chai latte $4.99) and asked to have it less sweet than usual. The man said that will be tricky because the chai mix is already sweetened, so he can put in less mix but the chai flavour would be less pronounced. I said I was ok with that. He was right, that my drink had a very subtle tea flavour, which I was expecting. Fortunately, I was happy with the level of sweetness of the drink. It wasn't overly sweet. It was also fairly rich and creamy. What I wasn't too thrilled about though, was the excessive amount of ice in the cup. we have a few delicious fresh made bagels and our daughters had bagel sandwiches, which were extremely fresh, with generous portions of the fillings they chose was sinking and the other egg. veggies on the bagel sandwiches were super fresh and delicious. cannot say enough about this awesome bagel sandwiches. and the staff was very friendly and welcoming?. super selection of cheese, meat, jams, BBQ sauces, baked and bitter to mix cocktails. a real jewel in westboro!
I absolutely love this place! Their bagels are simply incredible, and they offer a fantastic variety of other treats as well—everything from caviar to chocolate and everything in between! The staff is helpful and courteous, and the entire establishment is very clean. The Ottawa Bagel Shop and Deli’s bagels are outstanding and definitely my favorite! The deal of 12 bagels for the price of 6 just before closing is amazing too!
I usually love stopping by this bagel shop whenever I'm in the city. However, during my train ride home, I bought a salmon cream cheese bagel for dinner, only to open the package and find it lacked any salmon. I felt pretty disappointed, especially since I was too far away to do anything about it. They also seem to skimp on the cream cheese and dill, giving just a tiny smear. Thank you for the experience.
Today, I visited for lunch and enjoyed a fantastic smoked meat sandwich on light rye, paired with a double Americano. It was so delightful that I was tempted to order a second round! The atmosphere was ideal, with lovely sunshine, a cozy red chair in a peaceful corner, and superb, friendly service. Thank you for providing such a wonderful break during my busy day. Much appreciated!
