This is Melbourne, East Malvern, quiet sleepy suburbia, wintry weather, big park, activities but nothing much open on the weekends ..... well that was the late 80's when we were living there.These days, there are a few cafe around to cater for your weekend coffee and brunches, this establishment is probably be one of the premier destination judging by the crowd in the morning. We wanted to breakfast in the Malvern area before attending an event at Caulfield and decided on Our Kitchen Table. We were not disappointed. The food was excellent right from a standard bacon eggs and hash brown through a potato rosti to the special of the day a Japanese pancake with crunchy poached egg and salmon. The rosti was topped with a generous serving of avocado, beetroot relish,smoked salmon on the side, sprinkled with hazelnut dukka and a poached egg on top - fantastic.Coffees were good and the Earl Grey tea came out hot. The service was very good also. This seems a popular place with the locals and is dog friendly in the back garden. Well be back - hopefully for another Japanese...

Decided to go closer to where my colleague lives and he chose this place. Cheerful and timely service. Coffee was "okay", not really a long macciato, more like a double expresso. Food was excellent and more than I could handle. I had corn fritters with two poached eggs and bacon. Salsa was delicious - food well presented.

Came here for lunch. I had the greek chicken soup which was hearty and tasty AND not too salty. Had a gentle hint of fennel to it. Accompanying bread also nice and grainy.Coffee was excellent. Will certainly be back for more. Homemade cakes look yum but resisted the temptation. Friendly staff provided good service. Reserva una mesa ahora

A group of us had coffee/lunch here - good service. Tasty food. Little noisy. Coffee just okay. Could relax and chat easily. Didn't feel rushed. Great selection of preserves one can purchase - some I couldn't find at my local deli or supermarket.One hour parking outside.

Had breakfast here twice recently and never disappointed. Amazing coffee, amazing service and big value and highest quality breakfast ! Dont forget the specials board as this place keeps surprising! Keep up the good work !

A group of us get together for Breakfast a couple of times a year. Every time we have been there our expectations have been met. It is friendly, great service, excellent food and reasonable prices. Nothing is a problem.

Really good food - love the corn fritters! Nice chai lattes too, however usually take a while for take away.

Visited for breakfast on a Sunday morning. Lovely sunny sheltered courtyard and good food and coffe.
