Outgate Inn - Reservar una mesa

Very average pub food. Sat us on a table by the kitchen and open door despite other tables being free and not occupied all evening. Seems like having a captive market stops you bothering to serve good quality food. Not exclusive to this pub, so far 3 pubs here pretty much all the same. Shame.

we visited the outgate inn twice and both of them had good food. nothing beautiful, only good quality bar eating and decent size portioning. we will go back when we are in the opposite.

excellent staff. pleasant dining room. fish and chips were good, but overall the menu was somewhat limited.
