Every time we're in the area, this place is a must-visit! I absolutely love it; the food is incredible, and the view of the Ohio River and the passing barges is just stunning! Be sure not to miss their chicken dinner—it's just like Grandma used to make, complete with real mashed potatoes and country gravy. So delicious! And don't forget to take a slice of pie home for later; I had the coconut cream pie, and it was amazing! You really can’t go wrong with anything you order; everything is delicious and worth every penny.

The fried chicken is their most popular dish, but I opted for the chicken tenders, and I was not disappointed! The pieces were large, tender white meat coated in a crispy batter. I had more than enough to eat, especially with two sides and a soft roll that was the size of a hamburger bun. Their dessert menu also offers quite a few tempting options. I tried the Hummingbird cake with cream cheese frosting, and it was absolutely delicious!

Had an exceptional experience at The Overlook Restaurant, where Kim, the owner, ensured everything was perfect for our party of 65. The food was outstanding, and the service was impeccable, with two servers going above and beyond to accommodate everyone. The breathtaking views added to the ambiance, making it a memorable visit. Highly recommend The Overlook for a family dinner or a peaceful lunch with amazing food.

The food was fantastic! I dined in for lunch and spent about $10 to $20 per person. I would rate the food a solid 5, the service also gets a 5, and the atmosphere is equally impressive with a rating of 5.
