This was my husband 's birthday dinner. When I made the reservation, I noted this. We arrived a few minutes before our time were seated immediately. I did notice the table was in the middle of the room would not have been my choice for a special occasion. The server arrived quickly, introduced herself was polite. We ordered drinks appetizers. The dirty martini old fashioned were delicious! The fried crawfish was fine, nothing spectacular. My husband ordered a half dozen chargrilled oysters, they were small and there were only five. This restaurant is ideally situated for a business lunch. The atmosphere strikes a great balance: it's lively enough to generate positive energy, yet still quiet enough for easy conversation without raising your voice. The gumbo and salads are fantastic, and I look forward to returning next week!

We had not been to Owen Brennan's for while. What a treat that we had forgotten about! The atmosphere is classy and unique to most Memphis restaurants. The food was wonderful like it always was. The service was incredible! Love this and will be back.
