I was looking for a really nice place to take my friend out for her birthday dinner where everyone could have drinks and I could still take my children. I was very hesitant as some places just aren’t appropriate for young children. I shouldn’t have been concerned. The staff were so welcoming, happy, friendly and really engaging. Meals were quick and our waiter was the absolute best hospitality worker I have ever encountered in Mackay, my 2 year old was smitten with him and everything we asked for he was happy to accommodate, nothing seemed like a hassle. I hope all the staff enjoyed the birthday cake we left for them. Thank you for fitting our reservation in during such a busy time of year.
Just had dinner here and the service and food was honestly OUTSTANDING! I don’t think I have ever been anywhere and had the service we experienced tonight. So prompt and above expectations, the food was absolutely amazing and the wait time? We didn’t wait no longer than 5 minutes for our food. Seriously 10/10 for everything even catered for pregnancy and changed a cocktail and made mocktails. Well done guys great place!!
The friendly staff and service is the best we have received in Mackay... the brisket and rib meat absolutely melted in our mouths... we had the share platter and i can honestly say that there was nothing on it that we didn't enjoy... the food was full of flavor and absolutely delish... we loved the atmosphere... it was warm and welcoming... the staff at this restaurant are exceptional and we will definitely be returning.
We stopped by whilst driving down the east coast overnight. Despite being full when we walked in, the team made us feel really welcome and found us a spot for dinner. Superb beer, can highly recommend the house pilsner on tap! Food was fantastic also, with outstanding service with a personal touch. If we’re in the area again we’ll be coming by! Can’t recommend highly enough

Absolutely outstanding service, great food and an awesome atmosphere! It’s such a refreshing feeling when you can describe the beer you’d normally drink (Carlton MID) and have a craft beer chosen by the staff for you that goes down an absolute treat! I can safely say I’ll definitely be back again and again
These guys know how to put on an amazing service! Party of 16 and not one complaint! The food was to die for, the staff were absolutely hilarious and tentative and we had a brilliant night. Highly recommend
Best dining experience I've had in Mackay. Atmosphere is nice, staff are friendly. The beer selection is fantastic, far better than I expected. The food is amazing, just what I was looking for.
This place will knock your socks off! Hands down, the best place in Mackay! Amazing service, awesome atmosphere.. and don’t even get me started on the food... YUM! We will definitely be back.

Great food, fantastic service and a beer selection that will impress. The venue has a great atmosphere. If your looking for food and beer in MacKay you can’t go past this place.
Excellent service and range of beers for a place so far from anywhere brewery related. Little bit pricey but hey, it must cost an arm and a leg to get the beer up here.
