I had the pleasure of dining at PAESE Ristorante recently, and I must say it was an exceptional experience. Tony, the owner, truly went above and beyond to make our visit memorable. His personal touch and attention to detail added a special touch to the evening.The service at PAESE Ristorante was nothing short of excellent. The staff was attentive, friendly, and made sure we felt welcomed throughout our meal. They were exceptionally knowledgeable about the menu and offered great recommendations.The food itself was an out of this world. We were given the choice of various seating options to ensure privacy, which we requested and appreciated. The service was outstanding, allowing us to relax and enjoy our meal and conversation. The salads were plentiful, but the Caesar salad lacked flavor. The mushroom pasta was tasty, loaded with mushrooms. The veal was expertly cooked and served in a generous portion. The squab was good, but the portion size was smaller than anticipated. The only issue was with the desserts - the tart was quite small and the chocolate dessert was a tiny portion. Despite these minor flaws, we would definitely come back again.

Went for Summerlicious. Portion was super small, Salmon Curdo was only three slices. Veal Scallopini has four pieces of veal that were so small, with three finger-sized potatoes. Waited more than 40 mins after app to entrée. Our table also had NY Striploin with fries. Super salty. Again, they did not even bother to give you more fries to fill up the plate. Server came by to ask how as the food, only to ask, and walked away without even hearing our response.

If you are a lover of mediocre food and so so service this is your dream place.After reading the reviews I was really excited to check this place out. Such a disappointment.Remarks from the waitress that remained of her mother was totally inappropriate.I guess because I was a party of one I wasn't worth to wait on. My fungi pasta had mushrooms with sand in it: I didn't feel like sending food back. Didn't finish just paid and went on my merry way. Reserva una mesa ahora

It appears that this restaurant has changed ownership since our last visit many years ago. The menu has been reduced, and the food and wine options are not as exciting. However, the ambiance is still pleasant, and we were able to dine on the patio under a canvas covering during the rain. The service was excellent, and our food was served quickly. The prices are a bit steep for the limited selection available.

My family has been coming to Paese for years and we always leave happy. The food, service, and atmosphere are excellent. Paese is an all time Toronto restaurant.

My first visit. Everything was really great. But parking was nearly non-existent. Suggest you don't drive.
