A group of friends had lunch here. I had heard great things, if I’m honest, it was ok. Nothing bad to say but not somewhere I’d rush back to. The inside is lovely and the staff are helpful and courteous. The food is good, lovely ham served in the ploughman’s lunch but I was disappointed to be served a , albeit thick, slice of bread rather than a lovely crusty French stick or crispy bread. The plates are small and the selections at the top of their prices I would say. The fresh fruit salad and ice cream was nice with a variety of fruit. The English breakfast tea did not taste of much, though does come in a lovely large tea pot rather than a mug We had a nice time and I wouldn’t suggest you do...
