Pale Hall - Reserva de mesa

On arrival we were informed 'you are in for a treat '. The result was exactly the opposite. I had telephoned 30 hours in advance to confirm we were one vegetarian and my son did not eat smoked salmon. It took 5 attempts to speak to someone who confirmed this was all in order. On arrival I was 'interogated ' by a female member of management who had the most awful personal hygiene issue. 'When did I telephone '? Who did I speak to? Did I know my wife was vegetarian as this presented a problem!!! Finally this was all resolved and we were served dry sandwiches and scones and cake which was at best 'poor '. 3 requests for drinks went unfulfilled and finally a disgruntled waitress served us. On a cold Sunday in January, we were excited to have a lovely afternoon tea in the hotel's main dining room. The room was very pleasant and the staff were friendly. Unfortunately, the food was underwhelming. The chicken, ham, and egg mayo finger sandwiches, as well as the cake selection, were average at best. However, the fresh scones and homemade jam were delicious, as well as the Welsh brewed tea.

We stopped here for lunch on the way to North Wales. The hotel is quite stunning. Beautiful public rooms and lovely gardens. We were shown around and everyone was so friendly. The lunch was good value and beautiful tasty food (portion size was a little small). Great puddings! Would highly recommend.

We came here to celebrate husbands 60th birthday and had the 10 course tasting menu with wine flight. It was a taste sensation and the staff were excellent. Very warm and welcoming they all knew about the food which was locally sourced. It is not cheap but well worth it . Reserva una mesa ahora

Consistently high standards from arrival greetings to departure. Staff efficient helpful and friendly. Food superb, wine outstanding and very good value. Rooms throughout the hotel charming and tasteful. Grounds a delight. Really looking forward to my return.

We went here for lunch, a beautiful and impressive place. Gorgeous gardens. The food was excellent and the staff very professional but they were very aloof, except for the manager who welcomed us. The drinks are very expensive as well.

I have just visited Pale Hall for lunch. The hotel and surroundings are beautiful, the food delicious and service was exceptional. We were looked after really very well at our table by Nick Wright.

Outstanding food and wine and afternoon tea was a delight . The staff where attentive and caring and went above and beyond had a fanatic 40th Birthday
