This is becoming one of my favorite bakeries. I used to only find Palermo products near me at Mariano's and I wanted to give the actual bakery a try. Everything is so fresh.I went today to purchase paczki's. I usually go to Weber's, but they've raised their prices and the last time I went there, the filling didn't taste the same. They also run out of flavors way too quickly. I gave Palermo's a try for the paczki's and I was not disappointed. Not only did they have a large selection of flavors, but they were moderately priced and they were making them as they ran out. The service here is pleasant and friendly, and there is a fantastic selection of delicious pastries. Some of the cakes and other treats are so beautifully decorated that you might hesitate to eat such a stunning piece of art. The prices for individual items are quite reasonable, like the large cannolis for $3.25 and the mini ones at $1.75 each. I highly recommend paying a visit to this Italian bakery.
I went in to buy a cannoli kit but changed my mind when I spotted a stunning cannoli log displayed in the case. It was beautifully decorated for Christmas, but the staff kindly made one for me while I waited that was customized for our daughter's birthday. It contained 20 mini cannoli and was absolutely delicious!
This past Saturday I picked up a cake I had ordered earlier in the week for my mother-in-law's 75th birthday. I ordered a 10 inch yellow cake with fresh strawberries and buttercream. She absolutely loved the cake as did everyone else at the party. Thank you again, it was perfection!!

The staff are wonderful and attentive, always ready to assist with any needs. The Italian and Sicilian pastries are absolutely delightful! Definitely worth the visit!
One of the best Italian bakeries in Chicagoland they have really delicious Sicilian pizza and really good pastries I recommend the cannolis
