Palette Tea Garden Dim Sum Cǎi Yuàn

We just moved to San Mateo from Austin, Texas and wanted to try dim sum. There?s another palette in SF and others have said it was the best dim sum now. We went on a weekday and it was fairly packed and the place looked beautiful. We got various dim sumdishes and the Peking duck and the Wagyu chow fun. All the dim sum tasted very good, the Shu Mai was very delicious with themushroom and juicy. The Peking duck was phenomenal, wish there was more crepes for the meat, we loved it! The service wasamazing as well, our waiter was attentive and food also came out promptly. Dim sum for this place is probably 1-2$ more thanother places, so I rather come here for the service and vibes and clean restroom. The plates are so cute and matches the name ofthe restaurant ?palette.? Would definitely come here again.

In A Nutshell: -If you decide to come have a meal at Palette Tea Garden, your palette will thank you every time you take a bite! -Seriously, if you are looking for authentic Chinese food, this is a great place to satisfy that hunger. -The service istop-notch 5 stars they even have a robot helping out. -The surf clams were delicious, make sure you order that. Overall, ifyou live in San Mateo you already have a ton of great restaurants, Palette Tea Garden is another great option especially if youare in the mood for authentic Chinese food.

I came here 25 minutes late to my reservation and still got a seat while the restaurant was busy. The food was really fresh and came out hot. Meat in the dishes were also cooked at the right temperature not leaving it chewy or hard. They hands down havethe best dumplings in the Bay Area, the filling is just right and the skin doesn?t break when you pick it up. The only con in myopinion is the automatic gratuity of 18% and it was a party of 2 including myself.

Fancy dim sum restaurant. I lived in Hong Kong and Macao for many years that gave me chances to try out all the fancy dim sum places. But this place really bring the dim sum dining experience to the next level. Pricey but worth to give a try. Feweroptions for vegetarian but those green dishes were super yummy. Must try vegan dishes Crispy vegetable rice crepe)

The place is so pretty! The food is delicious and the employees are so friendly! Everything came out fast. We ordered a lot of food but it was all worth city to try and take home. Next time we come we will not come and order 17 dishes for 2 people but oureyes are bigger than our stomachs. We will definitely come back here.
