I was actually expecting a little more since the restaurant is at the Clinton Inn, and is in Tenafly. Clearly the glory days are past for the Clinton Inn. Sad to see... While the staff were wonderful and personable, there were too many of them constantly interrupting to ask if we needed anything. They should keep this check-in to the wait person assigned the table as it was too frequent with so many different faces. The food was fine. Not great, but not bad.
Took my son and family grandsons and and it was fine except that it was a particularly noisy Friday night with high school reunions etc. VERY noisy wish we could have been seated away from the action. Have always found service at Palmer's Crossing excellent but this time the poor staff were stretched and overworked. We won't go again on a Friday!
This restaurant prepares an excellent brunch on Sundays and certain holidays such as Thanksgiving and Mother's Day. The assortment is excellent and the food is great. The wait staff is extremely responsive.
