Another jewel of a Mexican restaurant in Mansfield! I always try to have a few meals in a restaurant before leaving a review, but Pancho?s was SO GOOD, I just had to leave a review after a meal and second meal at dinner. The Mexican cuisine here is something different because it is authentic. I was almost a dozen times in Mexico and authentic Mexican cuisine is not like what most Americans expect, like most international cuisine. Italian pizza is nothing like American pizza, but I degresse. Pancho?s is one of the few Mexican places I have gedimt in Mansfield, which offers El Pastor (or Al Pastor, or simply Pastor) Tacos, which is cooked on a spit, similar to Gyro meat prepared. Every Mexican place that Pastor Tacos offers is usually qualified to offer authentic Mexican food. Pancho?s is no exception! Their tacos seem to be tiny, but they are both incredibly delicious and very FILLING! I ordered 4 steak soft tacos after some chips salsa, an incredible bean dive and a huge margarita. I barely finished two! They look small because their flours are small tortillas (approx. size of an audio CD), but these tacos are STACKED FAT and served like an open face sandwich. Service during the meal was stellar. We have asked some questions because we have just discovered the joint, but everyone was friendly, patient helpful. Your dining room is not huge, but it was very comfortable, despite not AC. We guessed our choice to dive when we noticed that the front door was wide open, but we were surprised to see that it was perfect despite temptations outside the mid-1980s. I don't make hot weather and usually no AC is a deal killer, but the incredible drinks more than for the lack of AC. Pancho?s foods are consistent in terms of quality and quantity, as we receive the same great food, whether we order or immerse. We? really go to the menu because I? ve ordered this delicious soft tacos three times in a row! I'm eager to try more because it promises to be as good as the tacos we are? Be assured: Pancho?s offers good food, regardless of your experience with authentic Mexican cuisine. If you're looking for an authentic Mexican cuisine, Pancho?s has it. If you don't deal with authenticity, the food doesn't matter, it's still delicious! Despite the dining room almost full of locals when we dived, the food appeared much earlier on our table than we expected. I couldn't determine why Pancho?s Tacos didn't earn a 5-star score, even though I dimmed so few times there. Everything fulfilled my somewhat raised expectations and I will certainly return to Pancho. I'll update here if something changes.
