I ordered the chicken and wild rice soup yesterday, 12/2/22. The soup was delicious, but around midnight when I woke up to use the bathroom, my mouth felt tingly. When I looked in the mirror, I noticed the left side of my tongue was very swollen. I panicked because I’ve never had a food allergy before. I’ve also had this soup from here before with no problems, so maybe a different spice triggered this reaction. I took Benadryl, and the swelling has reduced a bit, but it still feels like I have a lisp when I speak. I plan to take more Benadryl in a few hours. It was a really frightening experience.
I would like to extend my gratitude to Panera Watchung for hosting a Family Fundraiser night for Redeemer Lutheran School in Westfield. Despite the cold January evening, we had a fantastic turnout of friends and family who came together to enjoy great food and community. A special thank you goes out to Lynn and the staff (Victoria, Kenyia, Joel, Chelsea, Gianna, and Luis) for making us feel at home with their delicious soups, salads, sandwiches, and so much more. Had the cheddar broccoli soup I guess I was giving the last bit because there wasn't any broccoli, not sure what else goes in it but that wasn't there neither , just tiny specks of the broccoli head , I basically had cheddar soup smh If I had something other than cheese it probably would have been good idk Service: Take out Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1
This Panera Bread location is pretty popular, I recommend ordering online/ordering ahead, they usually get your order ready within 10-15 minutes which is pretty good. Creamy cheddar broccoli soup is my go-to which I highly recommend. The store itself is well stocked and kept neat for a popular location, and the staff is friendly and attentive.

Quite pricey. I used to be a big fan of the chicken salad until they reduced the portion size and added less chicken. I really enjoy their grilled chicken sandwich, especially the sauce. However, it’s not really worth the cost. Their bakery items are always fresh—I recommend the bagels and chocolate chip cookies.
Customer service at Panera Bread was outstanding! I ordered takeout and explored their diverse menu. The bakery items were highly recommended, and everything met my expectations. Prices ranged from $10 to $20 per person. Food, service, and atmosphere all deserve a perfect 5-star rating. Highly recommended!
there was a literal nail clipping in my salad and my mom has gotten food poisoning from the broccoli cheddar soup here, i don’t recommend Service: Take out Meal type: Dinner Food: 1
