I joined the sip club and stopped by to check out the drinks for the day. I heard they had caffeinated drinks, so I wanted to see my options. I waited in line for about five minutes to order and then walked over to the drinks display, only to find there were no caffeinated options visible. I returned to the counter and the staff informed me that those drinks were kept behind the counter and I would need to ask for one. This was awkward because I wasn’t sure which flavor I would like and I didn’t want to order a large size of something I hadn’t tried before. I felt a bit uncomfortable asking to sample the flavors. Panera has two of my favorite lunch duos ... Soup and sandwich, however, despite the tasty selections the price is getting too steep for more than the occasional stop. It cost almost $40 for two of us to have lunch (you pick two.. of course) and a medium drink. Compare this to $10 to $12 at Dairy Queen lunch and it's getting harder to justify the high prices. Love their breads and pastries, love their selections, but honestly if another soup-n-sandwich bar was to open tomorrow offering a decent sandwich/soup at a reasonable cost ... I would be front and center.
The iced caramel latte was good. I paid almost $2.00 for a container of honey Walnut spread and did not receive it. instead I got 3 k-cup size cream cheese filled containers, certainly not enough for 6 bagels. I marked on the order screen that the bagels be sliced and toasted , they did not do that. The creamy tomato soup was cold when it arrived. Such a shame too they usually do much better. I suppose today they had people working that just didnt care to read the order before it went out for delivery. I am very disappointed.

I ordered a bacon, egg, and cheese sandwich on brioche, but it came on a baguette instead. There always seems to be something wrong with my orders here. I don't think I'll be giving this place another chance.
