I had a great first experience at this location. I ordered my go-to chipotle chicken avocado melt with a side of chicken noodle soup, and I also tried their Passion Papaya Iced Green Tea, which was surprisingly enjoyable even though I’m not usually a fan of green tea or papayas. My mother chose the cream of broccoli soup, and I loved it so much that I ended up buying it at a nearby supermarket, although it somehow tasted even better at the restaurant. The cashier was very helpful, but one of the cooks seemed a bit dismissive when I asked for my food and had to correct her. I'm truly sorry that I don't know everyone's names, but the staff here is fantastic. The ones I interact with most often are David, Amina, Michelle, and Abby. They are some of the kindest people I've encountered in customer service. The very fact that I'm taking the time to write this review speaks to their exceptional kindness. The area can have its share of difficult customers, but the staff handles it with grace. I genuinely enjoy stopping by to say hello and have a quick, friendly chat while I grab my coffee. This Panera location boasts some of the kindest and most dedicated employees. I walked in at 9:24, and even though it was close to closing time, Kayla at the register, along with her team members Jocelyn, Eunice, Steve, and manager Victoria, were all still cheerful and ready to serve us. Thank you for upholding your commitment to customer service right until closing!
I prefer the dark roast coffee here over the Pike from Starbucks, but I wouldn’t advise ordering through the app. The cups aren’t kept in the Express service area, so you might have to wait until all the walk-in orders are taken care of before you’re acknowledged. Be ready for a wait, or you might want to consider waiting in line to place your order instead.

Typically, this location is decent, but the staff working at 11 am on January 28th seemed to have some issues with attention to detail. I ordered a tuna salad sandwich and even paid extra for bacon and cheese, but my sandwich arrived without the tuna! How does that even happen? I didn’t order a BLT. Shaking my head. This completely ruined my lunch.
I ordered the steak sandwich with onions, cheese, and horseradish sauce. The sandwich contained just four very thin slices of steak, along with a few onions and some cheese. It was not worth the price. Two sandwiches and one beef, rice, and broccoli bowl totaled $49.27. I won't be returning. This Panera is located in North New Hyde Park.
If you're familiar with Panera Bread, this location may let you down. While the food was still decent, the service was subpar. I gave three stars for the food mainly because many items were unavailable. Additionally, the staff was unhelpful and the restrooms were in bad condition.
I thought the purpose of ordering in advance and utilizing rapid pickup was to have my order ready for me in the designated pickup area, rather than hidden away behind the counter.

The service was quick with minimal waiting time. The tables were clean and well-maintained. The menu features fresh items, so once something is sold out, it is no longer available.
The food choices are good. My order was right. I recommend going there for lunch. You can oder before you arrive.
