Papa Locos Tacos And Burgers

Impressive stop running errands came across this off the beaten Houghton stretch, yet still so close, next to a Chevron gas station's mini mart, thanks Yelpers! Don't be put off pulling up, it's a really nice setup inside, after you go through the mini mart the taco shop is off to the side. Noticed the other direct entrance from the patio side by the courtyard patio once inside haha. Excellent carnitas Burrito Mucho $9.75 with rice beans, plenty of pork and great flavor. Bonus comes with a few chips on a ceramic plate with real cutlery at this small taco shop, with several tables in and umbrellas, metal seating/tables in a side courtyard with trees and you almost don't notice you're at a gas...

Their food is consistently OK and I do love their red enchilada sauce. I 've ordered a side of guacamole before today and it was a decent sized portion for $2.00. Today, it was the size of a salsa cup. When I called to ask about the guacamole and size of the portion, he remarked that, We 're training new cooks and they don 't know. The owners are expanding and I don 't control the prices. The good news is that I won 't be as lazy about my Mexican food and drive an extra mile for some excellent food vs a convenient, mediocre experience.

It's ok here typical Mexican food joint. This one however located in the same location as the gas station. Either enter from side door or thru the gas station store entrance and walk to side. Ended up getting the enchi Loco combo. Combo is just rice and beans. The enchi is a enchilada loco style sealed the ends made it crispy and sauced. I like it but sometimes can be too rich with the cheese and creama Overall for a quick fix in the area can't go wrong.

One of my early childhood memories involving food was when a friend's mom who lived down the street made tacos fritos for all the neighborhood kids. They were so delicious. When I saw them on the menu here, I knew I had to order them. The staff at Papas Locos did not disappoint!

Never going back. This guac that was 1.4 oz was $2.00. It was not even equivalent to a slice of avocado. I'm in shock. My husband came home with it
