Papa Romano's Pizza Mr. Pita

I ordered a pizza online at 6:40. Went to pick it up. Did not look for an email. The store had no record of my 34$ purchase. I went back home, printed the email, called the store- you have an email but no confirmation number, the sale didn 't go through. I went back to the store with the email. They did make the pizza, and I left the store about 7:30, after two trips. The pizza tasted good, but it wasn 't worth two trips, and a pizza joint that can 't figure out on line orders. Let 's see how they resolve this problem. an apology? discount? credit? training of the staff? Whose responsibility to get orders right and on time is it? the customer or the staff and the owners? I placed an order for a Deluxe Square Deep Dish pizza with pepperoni and cheese through SLICE. Unfortunately, when I arrived at the restaurant to pick up my order, I was told that it had just been put in the oven. Despite waiting patiently, I was given the wrong pizza when it was finally ready. After contacting SLICE to request a price adjustment, the restaurant accused me of lying and even suggested that I had tampered with the pizza before taking a picture. As a professional woman with integrity, I found this accusation highly insulting. Despite attempts to resolve the issue, I will not be returning to this restaurant and caution others against patronizing it.

I ordered the large 1 topping with the Bambino bread. My pizza looked like a 5 year old cut it and the Bambino bread was doughy and uncooked on the top with very little brown on the bottom. When I called to complain the guy who answered claimed to be the manager and said that's how they make the bread and that there's nothing he can do about it but take my number and have the owner call me. It's been a week now and I'm still waiting for a return call. Needless to say I will no longer eat at this location because it has not been the same in years and seems like they hire kids with no experience. I had to write a review after ordering a pizza from Hungry Howie's a few weeks ago and having to throw it out after just one bite. If you're in Grosse Pointe looking for good pizza, this is the place to come. They have the best pizza in the area, and they even fixed their website so they can deliver to Grosse Pointe Park. The service is top-notch as well. Delivery service is prompt and the price per person is around $20-30. The food receives a rating of 5, service a 5, and the atmosphere a 4. Overall, this is hands down the best pizza joint in the area.

I had my mom pick up a couple slices for me while I am in the hospital and was craving pizza. This was my first time trying this restaurant and I absolutely loved it! The food was perfect and so delicious. I will definitely be returning as soon as I am discharged. The staff was friendly and the service was great. I give it a 5 out of 5 for both food and service. The atmosphere was also a 5. I highly recommend trying the Italian dishes. The price per person was between $1-10 for dinner.
