Our waitress, who happened to be the owner, and her husband, the chef, treated us with the utmost hospitality. We started with the flavorful crab cakes, which were moist on the inside and crispy on the outside, accompanied by a delicious lemon aioli sauce. Being from Louisiana, I was pleasantly surprised by the incredible depth of flavor in their gumbo, reminiscent of my big mama's kitchen. Okay, so while driving to Pickerington to have dinner we drove through Baltimore. We were driving by and said we should try that sometime (papitos). Decided sometime was now. So glad we did. You can definitely tell the owners take pride in their food. It was fresh and very good. The owners were very welcoming. It felt very home-like. Two of us stopped in for lunch. We spoke with Kim, our server, she suggested a Lobster Salad instead of the roll as we both are watching our weight. It wasn’t on the menu, but it was fantastic. What a great idea. The lobster salad was every bit as good as what we had just eaten in Bar Harbor, Maine last month. What a great restaurant. It’s worth the drive. I drive 30 miles to eat here. Best fish dinner and fried plantains (Maduros) in town. They used to be next to Frank's fish market so if you've eaten there you know how good the food is. The food at this restaurant was incredibly tasty. I tried the fish tacos and the Gumbo Gumbo Bread bowl, both of which I would highly recommend to anyone. The Pita fries dessert was also outstanding.
