I have visited numerous Indian restaurants from Stamford to New Haven and a few in the Hartford area, and I can confidently say that this place stands out. They offer a wide variety of delicious dishes. Some of my personal favorites include the chicken and lamb biryani, vegetable fried rice, goat curry, and chicken curry. The chefs excel at creating authentic flavors in their dishes. The key is to communicate how you would like your meal prepared.
The food is usually excellent and the delivery service is generally great, but tonight was a disappointing exception. When I placed my order, I was informed that delivery would take 35-55 minutes. However, after waiting an hour and a half, I called the driver, William, who apparently dropped off my order at an unknown location. I’ve decided I will not order delivery from this restaurant again, as they take no responsibility for lost orders.
I ordered from Seamless and was pleasantly surprised to see a significant improvement in both the quality and portion sizes of the food compared to a few years ago. I enjoyed the lamb korma so much that I decided to dine in today, and I'm pleased to confirm that the quality remains consistent. I definitely recommend giving this restaurant another chance!
The food was excellent, but the mango Mango Lassi was not worth the money. I paid $8 for two kid sized mango lassi. The picture in the menu is deceiving. It looks like they give you a good amount and thats not what my wife and I received. I do not recommend buying it until they put the lassi in a 10oz cup or more. I traveled from New York to come to this great restaurant for their biriyani! This is by far one of the best biriyani I have ever had in USA! Even better is their customer service! The manager especially and rest of staff is very attentive to our needs,knowledgeable and very joyful atmosphere I must say! I will be a returning customer for many years!
I must say, I enjoyed every single bite of the Chicken 65, Chicken lollipop, Mutton roast/chukka and mutton biryani. Also, Malabar fish fry was out of this world , a must try!! Service was delightful and very professional. We can?t wait to return andwouldn?t hesitate to recommend to anyone looking for great Indian food!!
I'm always thrilled when a restaurant offers paneer biryani. However, I'm not sure what prompted the chefs to soak the paneer in what I assume is a tandoor marinade. It wasn't a great choice, and the dish didn't look anything like the enticing stock photo, which was much more appealing.
I ordered the Chicken 65, and it was cooked to perfection with just the right level of spice. The garlic naan was delicious, although it was a bit soggy from the condensation in the bag. The samosas were the best I've ever had! I will definitely be ordering again! Reserva una mesa ahora
stale food. chicken appears to be from yesterday or a week ago. very disappointed. biryani rice is the worst . was very good previously but not now, doubt I will purchase again there. samosa chat is okay
