It?s so hard to find authentic Thai food in CT. Most Thai food places aren?t run by Thai people or are too Americanized. However, as a Thai person myself , this restaurant by far has been the BEST Thai food place I?ve been to. The owners are Thaitoo. The Thai boat noodle soup was absolutely delicious. It reminded me of the noodle shop back in Thailand in front of my momshome. The broth was a salty-slightly sweet savory broth with pho noodles. Never had anything else like that in Connecticut otherthan home. We also ordered the spring rolls which were crunchy on the outside and filled with veggies and clear noodles. It wasdeep fried fresh for us. You could definitely tell they were homemade and not store bought. It came with a authentic homemadesauce. The sauce was sweet and slightly vinegary which absolutely complimented the fried spring rolls. Most Thai places use thebottle Mae-ploy sauce , this place makes their own. I also ordered the papaya salad which was spicy and delicious. I wasactually surprised on how good it was because it?s not common for This dish to be well executed other than home or at a thaifamily home. Customer service was absolutely wonderful. I highly recommend this thai place if you?re looking for some goodauthentic thai food!! It absolutely surprised me.
