The beautiful setting cannot be denied. And everything surrounding the restaurant looks lovely. Lots of waitstaff make a good impression, including the knowlegeable sommelier. But the food quality (and quantities) leave a lot to be desired. The duck breast "in orange sauce" was tough and hard and except for two small kumquat halves, there was nothing orange about it. My companion's sole was barely adequate. Adding salt and pepper gave it some taste, but .We eyed the dessert menu but gave up.We've been to the restaurant before but won't be going there again.
A wonderful experience in an extraordinary ambience. One has a wonderful view of Vierwaldstaettersee, the lake while dining. The food was excellent. Service was OK, could have been better, keeping in mind how good the restaurant was. The restaurant is about an hour drive from Zurich. Unfortunately, the online reservation didn't work. Although we had a confirmation with a number sent by the hotel, the restaurant claimed not having any record of it. So make a reservation just by phone or at least reconfirm by phone.
Ate outside here with my wife on a sunny Sunday evening in June. The setting is beautiful. The food was really excellent. I had lobster bisque to start with, followed by a steak. Both were great quality and very well presented. We have visited some of the best steak restaurants in London and I would say this restaurant is even better. Wine to match was superb. Service was excellent. Not cheap but great value. I would recommend to anyone visiting Weggis.
We had a very nice dinner at the Brasserie. The tartare has been prepared at the table, which I thought was very cool to watch. In addition, you could chose exactly what you wished to be in there. Further, we were very happy about the choice of wine we made. We have experienced an excellent and very warm service and the sommelier figured exactly what we wished for.

A very enjoyable meal with spectacular views across Lake Lucerne. Highly reccomended for a romantic dinner for two or with a group of friends. Fantastic wine selection matched with great service - perfect!
Tried it again since our last visit six months ago. Still sucks! Mediocre food and horrible service. Stay away! P.S We're not tourists. We live in Weggis.
Oysters and mussels- divine! Super! The food is exceptional in quality. Service is friendly and quick. One of my favorite spots to dine in.
Ate here on our anniversary night (we were also staying at Park Weggis.) The food (particularly the lamb) is out of this world.

Food were great. I had Risotto with shrimps and it was the best risotto I've had. Far better than the ones I've had in Italy.
I loved it. My husband had the Angus steak whilst I had the Maine lobster. I cannot fault this place. It was exceptional.
