The caravan site is clean and includes two fishing lakes. The toilet and shower facilities are tidy and functional. Unfortunately, while I was fishing, the owner's daughter walked her dog in a clearly marked "anglers only, no dogs" area and stepped on my top kit, leaving a trail of carbon fiber behind. The owner promised to contact me about a replacement, but two months have passed, and I've heard nothing. The café is essentially a shed run by one person with just one hot plate, and the food isn’t very good. Overall, it was quite disappointing.
The location is very near a busy road, which can be quite noisy. The shower facilities were freezing, as there was no heating available. There was only one small hook for hanging clothes. The water in the showers was very hot, but you had to constantly hold down the push button to keep it running. There were no toilet roll holders; the toilet paper was just placed on the back of the water tank. Additionally, there wasn't enough parking space for cars and the power supply was inadequate. Unfortunately, we won’t be coming back.
I visited today with my two sons, and it was our first time there. The gentleman in the suit shop was incredibly helpful; he explained everything and provided great advice on fittings and styles. We really appreciated his assistance. This will definitely become a regular spot for us since it's conveniently located on our route! We'll be sure to recommend it to others as well. Beautiful set of luxury lodges enclosed in trees and close to a very tranquil fishing lake. Onsite cafe selling a wide range of homemade sweet and savoury dishes. Very short bike or car ride into Northallerton a bustling town with all the shops, cafes, pubs and supermarkets you require. Also close to a lot of beauty spots for relaxing wanders to more strenuous bike rides etc

I had a fantastic weekend here and would highly recommend it! The location is immaculate, and the toilet and shower facilities are excellent in the beautiful town of Northallerton. I also enjoyed a delicious lunch at the café. I will definitely be returning!
This location primarily consists of permanent caravans, and the pitches available for tourers are not ideal. It doesn't seem well-suited for motorhomes either. Additionally, the site owner was quite unwelcoming.
If you're seeking a warm welcome, this is not the place for you. The staff here are quite rude and seem completely unaware of what customer service means. I will not be returning to this establishment.
really nice clean. good fishing as well. the dressing shop for a holiday park was fantastic and also best to ring for certain baits and eating in caffe was on site.

Waited so long just for 2 cups coffee that they'd fetch out to us asked for a refund was only a few people in and 2 staff, was disappointed after seeing reviews
