Parkway Deli & Restaurant

Been a few weeks since we went here but just now getting around to reviewing it. Don't think it's as good as other people think. They held my breakfast back even though it was done cooking until my fiancees soup was done? Instead of bringing my food when it was fresh. My eggs were dry. The pancakes were unimpressive. Probably won't go back.

This place is always great. We stivk to the deli food. Sandwiches are THICK. The meats, delicious. Our waitress was stellar. And the carrot cake was unequaled anywhere. It was also huge. 2 of us couldn't finish a piece. It's not fancy, it's a deli. It has tradition. But it's the best deli in the dc area. Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4

Only genuine NYC deli left in the post COVID DMV. 'Nuff said! Big varied menu, great chicken noodle soup, lean corned beef and good portions, loved the lox/eggs/ latke dish but the brisket was drenched in gravy that wasn't very good. Our waiter, Jorge, was also fabulous. Would like to give 4.5 stars but that's not an option. We dined there but outside. Reserva una mesa ahora

Best mazo ball soup in this quadrant of the galaxy. Best deli food on the mid-Atlantic seaboard, starting with the incredible, generous corned beef sandwiches. Everything else is great too. If you live here, you're a regular. If you're a visitor, do yourself a favor and stop in.

I?ve been going to parkway deli for 37 years. I live for the avocado, chicken and bacon salad and the fabulous French toast. Everyone is always friendly and there to greet you with a smile. The best things in life are local.
