That's it! Where friends become family, as the shield says. Kendra, Sarah, Alex, Jenn, Wendy, Misty, Brandy, Jennifer and Heather and Ivy will take care of you. You have a HUGE menu with 13 salads, five day specialties and Greek specialties. This place is fantastic! They are busy at noon and Saturday. I got a nice breakfast and then went back 3 days later and got the roast turkey special with cornbread stuff, pinto beans, broccoli and cornbread directly from the oven. To eat a lot. I'll be back soon. (a week later) . . . I just went back and had the Hamburger Special . . . With salad, tomatoes, slices of dill picks! Thousands of island dressing and chili. I eat at this place as much as i can because of the awesome food, great atmosphere, and nice employees and waitresses. I get the Philly cheese steak sub alot and everytime it's perfect! The fries are crispy and seasoned perfectly. The sandwich has nice soft bread and juicy, flavorful, mouthwatering grilled steak mixed with chopped green peppers and onions. You can never leave here hungry because they give you great servings of food. Always leave here satisfied and happy with a full stomach. Also i've seen local Hickory police here, if they eat here, i know this place is awesome!

Great Food! Organic and healthy, yet old fashion enough to remind you that tou are in Hickory NC! The atmosphere actually matches the area rather than what others try to do and make it their own. They also give crayons and art for the little owns. Prices are in some areas higher but the food quality is well worth it. Also, get the egg biscuit! The biscuits are a little hidden treasure.

We can't speak highly enough about this restaurant and their staff. Kendra was the absolute best! She was helpful in explaining the menu and her favorite dishes. You can tell she is passionate about the food AND the restaurant. She has a big heart and won't let your drink even run out of ice that's how good she will take care of you. Parkway House is a fantastic restaurant in front of the beaten path in Hickory, NC. The breakfast menu is available until 3 pm each day, the prices are very reasonable for a local kitchen. A great alternative to Ihop, we loved everything both times we visited. Incredibly friendly service, wonderful family-friendly atmosphere, delicious food!!!

I can't believe this place was here all the time and I didn't know. The first time here and it was delicious. Our service was great and the food was also great. There are many tables. Many seats. It's a really beautiful place inside. Very clean. Everyone was very friendly. I can't wait to go back. I highly recommend this place!

Our server was very busy but still was able to take care of us in a truly hospitable way. The food was delicious and plentiful and the prices quite reasonable. I was surprised to find Greek options on the menu but, I have never had better tzatziki sauce in all my years. I look forward to returning as soon as I can.

I really loved this place. You have a wide selection of dishes and very friendly staff. It was my first time there and everyone made it as if I had eaten there forever. I had a burger and it was tasteful and very well cooked. Next time I'm in the area, I'll stop here again. Reserva una mesa ahora

We found the Parkway House on Google, it's only 5 minutes from Lenoir Rhyne University. We had 2 hamburgers which were great, it is a local restaurant with a great atmosphere, and we can't wait to explore the rest of their menu.

Waitress was very friendly and brought a refill of drink with the first glass. Fried pork chops were really good. Good dining experience!
