If you're going to the Ohio, Ontario Grand Ave. Areas close to North, just west of the Magnificent Mile, Portillo 's can be a great choice for the family as they have an enormous selection of menu items. Beef, hot dogs, burgers, ribs, salads and more, including Portillo's spectacular chocolate cake, are for choice, depending on the taste of each family member. Parking can be a pain, but, again, when you go, it works. There are two floors inside and the interior is filled with antiques and antique characters and other artefacts from a gone era. The price class is wrong: you have a hard time to spend here $10 per person, and you won't even get $5 for a hot dog, frits and drink. Good hot dogs in Chicago style and the best pommes ever. About the latter: Do not come with any preconceived ideas about how Pommes should be. These are long, soggy, unpeeled and absolutely delicious. Hot Dogs are perfect enough hot-dog stand adventures, complete with the essential Chicago supplement of sports whips. No ambience, but outdoor picnic tables are nice.

Best chocolate shakes and Chicago dogs on the planet. Every trip to Chicagoland should include a trip to Parky's!!!! Not much ambience, but this is comfort food on the fly. The frits alone make my mouthwater.......not miss!!!!!

I've been going here since I was a little kid.my mom has been going since she was a kid.my favorite hot dog place.the staff has been so amazing over the years . Food is delicious. Highly suggest stopping here

If you don't appreciate fat, don't go here. If you can, that's the best. Frankly, while it's not high-end cuisine, Parky can be the best thing that makes Chicago best.
