Beer was great, but the food was a different story. I had high expectations for the food, and the burger my wife had was good. However, I ordered the Fried Chicken which failed to fulfill the vital expectation: fried chicken is always bone-in Bone-in chicken means you're getting dark meat, which is juicier. I got boneless chicken fingers made with boneless chicken breast (white meat), which is entirely different. I expected proper Fried Chicken, and what I got was a children's platter, except a children's platter might have come with a side dish like fries. I paid $18 for chicken fingers with no sides. Was afraid of this place after reading some negative reviews. But have to say despite the middle/high price point compared to a fast food restaurant was pleasantly surprised. Had the fried chicken with a flight of dark beers. Our server was fantastic. The food and service was speedy despite only having one server on. The chicken was perfectly cooked and the aioli was spot on. Only complaint is the fried chicken batter is a bit bland. Overall a good experience. 4 comfortable stars. 4.75 if I could give it. The batter the only thing keeping me from going full 5 star perfection. Parsons is a good place to spend an afternoon with good food and good beer.
